Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Drapaka’s Grade 5 class from Dr. Bernard Brosseau School after winning a contest put on by the Edmonton Oilers.
The class were chosen as the winners of the Energize Oil Country contest. At the beginning the students pledged to do sixty minutes of physical activity a day and to lead a generally healthy lifestyle. For all their hard work they got rewarded with a pizza party, a meeting with former Oilers captain Ethan Moreau and a VIP experience for the final game of the regular season against the Vancouver Canucks.
