RCMP and Fire Departments are on scene of an uncontrolled fire in Goodfish Lake First Nation

St. Paul RCMP are presently grappling with an uncontrolled fire wreaking havoc in the heart of the community of Goodfish Lake First Nation. With flames raging out of control, the situation has prompted the evacuation of multiple residences in the area.  

 

Authorities are asking people to stay away from the area so fire and RCMP can focus on battling the fire and keeping residents safe with evacuation.  

 

The escalating ferocity of the fire has prompted a rapid and coordinated response from multiple fire departments. Among those mobilized in this urgent effort are teams from Goodfish Lake, Mallaig, and Ashmont, all responding to battle the blaze and prevent its further spread.  

 

As residents wait anxiously and emergency responders work tirelessly, the priority remains on putting out the flames and ensuring the safety of those affected by this unfolding crisis.
