Northern Lights is trying to bridge the gap between students, teachers and administration with its student voice program.
The newly developed program is the brainchild of Assistant Superintendent Ron Taylor, based on his experience at schools in BC.
Under the program, a group of students will regularly meet, discuss issues they feel should be brought to the board’s attention, come up with an action plan and present it to the superintendent.
The first step in implementing the program will be a workshop held on the 22nd.
