Habitat for Humanity Needs Volunteers in Cold Lake Saturday

The Lakeland Catholic School District has an urgent need for volunteers for a Habitat for Humanity house they’re helping build in Cold Lake.

The district has been helping raise funds for the project since 2014, managing put 45,000 dollars towards it in that time. Lots of work has been put into it already by trained professionals and now there’s plenty for volunteers to do. No previous experience or knowledge of how to build a house is required. If you can’t so much as put some Ikea furniture together, they’ll still be able to find a use for you.

If you’re interested in volunteering, the usual protocol is to email the Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected]. However, as volunteers are needed so quickly in this case, email Julie Chorney at [email protected] so she can speed up the process.
