25-year-old Andrew Heigh has been arrested after being caught breaking a court-ordered curfew stemming from drug trafficking and firearms charges in Februrary.
A Cold Lake RCMP was patrolling around 1 in the morning on the 22nd when they saw Heigh leave a vehicle. In Februrary he had been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine. Careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a firearm. One of the conditions laid on him was that he could not be outside between 9 PM and and 5 AM. He was also not allowed to have a cell phone. Heigh was remanded into custody and will next appear in court on December 14th.
