Guest Speaker Doug Gritthis will be in Bonnyville tomorrow with his presentation “13 Ways to Kill Your Community.”
Hosted by the Bonnyville & District Chamber of Commerce, the presentation will be held at the Alberta Room of the Neighbourhood Inn. Executive Director for the Chamber, Andrea Yaremie says she’s heard great things about the presentation from other communities. “Really it’s an opportunity for everyone. When you take a hit, whether its from an economic standpoint or a social standpoint and something impacts you in a negative way, rather than standing there and taking it in shock, it’s fighting back. Being able to say ‘No I’m not going to stand for this. I’m going to advocate for my community, advocate for my business, advocate for community groups. All of that encompasses advocating for your community in general.”
The presentation will be held from 11:30 to 1:30. Tickets are ten dollars and include lunch. Contact the chamber for more information.
