The Lac La Biche Kinsmen have been forced to cancel their On the Pond hockey tournament planned for this weekend due to poor ice conditions.
The Kinsmen went onto the ice this morning to check the surface, but found that overflow water had only partially frozen, making the 8 rinks unusable.
The event had been in planning since November and will not be re-scheduled or re-located.
