AHS holding healthcare sessions in Cold Lake, St. Paul

Albertans are being encouraged to register for one of the upcoming provincial healthcare engagement sessions including in Cold Lake and St. Paul.

The in-person sessions will give Albertans the chance to have a voice on topics including healthcare challenges in local communities and communities across the province and discussing possible solutions, say health officials.

The public engagement sessions follow an announcement made by the province in November about creating four new healthcare organizations that will separately focus on primary care, continuing care, acute care, and mental health and addictions.

The sessions are scheduled for several communities in the Midwest region:

  • Cold Lake – Thursday, March 7, 9:00 -11:00 a.m. at Best Western Cold Lake Inn
  • St. Paul – Thursday, March 7, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. the Landing Hotel & Conference Centre
  • Lloydminster – Friday, March 8, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Border Inn & Suites
  • Wainwright – Friday, January 26, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Wainwright Communiplex, also
  • Vegreville – Friday, March 8, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Vegreville Suites
  • Stettler – Wednesday, February 7, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stettler Recreation Centre
