Cold Lake, Alberta – During the early morning hours of December 25, 2015, Cold Lake RCMP arrested 39 year old Kevin Blair Smith of Edmonton. Subsequent to arrest, RCMP seized a significant quantity of methamphetamine. Kevin Smith has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act, as well as 4 charges of failing to comply with a recognizance under the Criminal Code. Kevin Smith has been remanded into custody and is awaiting his next court appearance via CCTV on January 13, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in Cold Lake.
