Good news for family farms in the Lakeland, the provincial government plans to revise Bill 6 to make some exemptions.
The new amendments will clarify that only farms that have one paid employee will have to follow OHS laws and pay into Worker’s Compensation.
The changes come after heavy protests from farmers across the province, including one put on by a group of farmers in rural St. Paul yesterday.
