Both of the MPs representing the Lakeland area have been honoured with posts as critics in the Federal Conservative Party.
Interim leader Rona Ambrose announced her Shadow cabinet on Monday. While neither local MP was appointed to the party’s inner circle, Lakeland Riding MP Shannon Stubbs was given the post of Deputy Critic of Natural Resources while David Yurdiga pf Fort McMurarry/Cold Lake was given critic of Northern Affairs.
Both MPs are very new to parliament and this will be both of their first postings as critics.
