Alberta Health Services says a new program is making its way to the Lakeland that will help those suffering from chronic illness. Better Choices, Better Health is a six-week program open to anyone over the age of 18 and is aimed at people recovering from a stroke, heart attack, cancer or addiction or working to get healthy by changing old habits.
The Bonnyville meetings start at 12:30 PM on October 22nd and run on Tuesdays inside the Provincial Building. Cold Lake will host their meetings in the Cold Lake and District Family and Community Support Services building starting October 24th.
