Bonnyville mounties say one man is facing arson charges after a fire near Muriel Lake. It happened on June 3rd. Emergency crews were called out at around 8:30 PM to the west side of the lake. The fire was put out without any injuries or damage to buildings.
The RCMP Forestry Crime Unit and Alberta Forestry Investigators say they found the three points where the fire was started. Mounties say 24-year-old Harvey Auger of Wabasca is now wanted by police and is due to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on July 16th.
