City of Cold Lake residents have plenty of opportunities to grow a green thumb this month. Compost Days have begun. Throughout the month of May, the public can pick up free compost material to use either in their yards or for agricultural purposes.
The compost is created from yard clippings picked up last year and is rated category “A”. Residents may take the lesser of five bags or 100 kg of compost per visit to the transfer station. All are encouraged to bring their own containers or bags.
