The Energy Centre will be showing off its new features this weekend. On January 26th the public will get a first peek at the phase three expansion at the Cold Lake rec centre. Of note will be the first chance to climb on the brand new rock wall. Kids will be able to climb for free until 6 pm. Cold Lake Mayor Craig Copeland says the new growth in the Energy Centre is really impressive.
“The amenities at the Energy Centre are really coming along. It’s a central hub for all things recreation and it is generating the critical mass of events and people needed to entice other business to the location.”
A new Booster Juice was also added during construction. A short grand opening ceremony will kick off the day at 11 am.
