It’s not permanent but its a start. The Bonnyville and District Fine Arts Society has found a place to lay their head on a temporary basis. On December 17th The Lakeland Catholic School Division announced it would let the group use certain spaces at Notre Dame High School. The move from the soon-to-be-gone Lyle Victor Albert Centre inside Bonnyville Centralized High School is expected to happen on March 15th in the new year.
The BDFAS is continuing to search for a permanent home. In the December 11th meeting of Bonnyville Town Council, Councilor Brian McEvoy was announced as a new member of the group’s relocation committee. Ideas pitched for a new theatre include inside the Centennial Centre.
