The M.D of Bonnyville is bringing back a popular way to get rid of snow for many residents. The hardship snow removal program allows a person who may have a medical condition or other factors the ability to have their snow plowed on their driveway.
The M.D says a waiver must be signed by the resident and a list of factors must be met before they become eligible for the program. All M.D roadways will take precedence over private lots, so homeowners can expect about a 48 hour wait before their driveway is cleared.
Also available is snowplow flags. The flags are $25 dollars and entitle a homeowner to 15 minutes of plow work from an M.D worker. A Complete list of rules and places to purchase flags are found on the M.D website.
