Alberta Health Services says women in the Fishing Lake region will have the ability to be screened for breast cancer next month. The mobile mammography unit will be in Fishing Lake at the Metis Communiplex on Nov. 7 and 8. Residents can book an appointment or learn more about the program by calling 1-800-667-0604.
A complete list of screening locations in the province can be found at the “Screening for Life” website. AHS says women aged 50 to 74 are most at risk of developing breast cancer.
