Incumbent Councilor for Ward 1 of the MD of Bonnyville, Don Sinclair has dropped out and will not be seeking re-election on October 16th.
Sinclair had been councillor for the ward since 2007. His seat will now be contested by Josh Crick, Shane Franklin and Marc Jubinville. Ward 1Â takes up the southeast corner of the MD and includes Fort Kent, Beaverdam, Muriel Lake, Beartrap Lake, Angling Lake, Ernestina Lake, and borders Frog Lake to the south.
