The Bonnyville A&W had another successful Burgers to Beat MS day, raising over 2,500 dollars for the local MS Society.
Over thirty vintage cars gathered at the restaurant for customers to walk around and look at, and close to fifty more model cars were on display for the Toy Car Show. The A&W sold 1,200 teen burgers while the event was on, donating two dollars from each sale. Further donations collected in jars hasn’t been added up yet.
“This is such a fun community event,” says organizer James Purdy. “It’s a great fundraiser and awareness event for the MS Society. Everyone had a great time and we’re looking forward to next year!”
