St.Paul town council has decided to hold of of a rezoning that would have allowed a bakery and coffee shop to have been built. Council had heard a pitch from two St.Paul residents to rezone an area near 48 street and 49th avenue to allow a commercial property in what is already a residential area and let them build a coffee shop/bakery.
Council decided in last weeks meeting that wouldn’t be happening, citing concerns from adjacent land owners and parking and traffic issues that would arise from a business in the area.
