Dr. Brosseau Middle School will be host to a town council meeting. Last year town council held a regular meeting at Dr. Brosseau Middle School in Bonnyville and after seeing much success from the meeting councillors have passed a motion to hold a meeting there again. It is a great way to hear back from the younger generation and help them discover what the government does says mayor of Bonnyville Gene Sobolewski.
Mayor Sobolewski also notes that the meetings coincide with what students are learning and at a previous school held meeting the motion to build a splash park was passed. The town of Bonnyville has extended the invitation to hold meetings at other local schools and the date of the Dr Brosseau meeting is yet to be determined.
