In the early hours of October 12, a disturbing incident unfolded in the peaceful community of Goodfish Lake leaving residents shocked and authorities deeply concerned.
Police swiftly responded to a house fire that was accompanied by a hail of gunfire, raising suspicions of intentional arson.
“The preliminary investigation revealed evidence to suggest that the house was intentionally set on fire and numerous shots fired into the residence,” according to RCMP.
The matter is still under investigation and the St. Paul RCMP are asking the public to come forward if they have information regarding this file or any other arson investigation in the Goodfish Lake area.
