UPDATE: Shelter in place lifted for Kikino Métis Settlement, suspect remains at large

Update: The shelter-in-place for Kikino Métis Settlement residents has been lifted. As of 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, Patrick Glynn is reported to still be at large. According to RCMP, officers will remain in the area, and residents are being told to remain vigilant.

Kikino Métis Settlement residents are being advised to shelter in place as Lac La Biche RCMP searches for a man considered to be armed and dangerous. Residents are advised to lock their doors and not open them for anyone; those driving on Highway 36, between Lac La Biche and Highway 28, are told not to stop for pedestrians or hitchhikers.

Officers are searching the area for 39-year-old Patrick Glynn, who is described as being 6’2″, weighing around 194 pounds, with a medium complexation.
