Lac La Biche RCMP received a report of a break and entry from a business in the industrial park west of Lac La Biche on March 16, 2023.
While at the scene Peace Officers found two men who were breaching court orders. Through CCTV footage RCMP determined the two men were two who had broken into the business shortly before.Â
The men were located on Highway 55 and arrested.
Adam Cardinal, 42, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 7 charges including;
- Break and entering a business x4
- Mischief damage to property under $5,000Â x 2
- Fail to comply with conditions
Billy Cardinal, 28, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 8 charges including;
- Break and entering a business x4
- Mischief damage to property under $5,000Â x 2
- Fail to comply with conditions x2
Following a judicial hearing, Adam Cardinal was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on April 3, and Billy Cardinal was released and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on May 1, 2023.
As these matters are now before the courts, no further details can be provided.
