Congragulations to Kyra Pollock from Holy Cross Elementary in Cold Lake, who won in her zone for the Fire Prevention Week Contest.
A delegation from Cold Lake Fire Rescue and Tom Littlechild from the Office of the Fire Commissioner were among the group that came into her class yesterday and present her with a tablet as her prize. The whole class got to go outside and look at the fire truck and learn more about Fire Safety. As one last added surprise, Kyra and her teacher got to climb up the ladder with Fire Chief Jeff Fallow and Firefighter Justin Herod.
