A 42-year-old Kehewin man was recently arrested recently for public intoxication in Cold Lake, but the RCMP soon found out he is was in much more trouble than that.
The police were called by a local convenience store saying the man was so intoxicated he could no longer take care of himself and was causing a public disturbance. When the police arrived they found him drinking in public, for which he was promptly arrested. It was later discovered that the man had several warrants for his arrest in Edmonton, which were then executed.
