Lac La Biche County is looking for a few community groups in need of some extra cash this spring. The county has put the call out once again for groups looking to raise some cash for their roadside cleaning program. The program lets groups clean up sections of ditch and areas around the county in exchange for funding.
Collection day has been set as May 4th. The county says they will accept applications until April 21st. The applications need some basic information including the choice of clean-up area. Proof of general liability insurance will be required to sign up.
The county says they’ll be approving locations and handing out equipment just prior to collection day. More information on the program is available by calling Transportation Services at 780-623-6811.
