The St. Paul Aquatic Centre says Saturday’s lightning storm did a fair bit of damage to the pool electronics. The pool will be closed for at least a couple days. However, the hot tub, steam room and gym are still running.
Aquatic Manager Robert Simons says a power surge knocked the equipment out and a new part has to be ordered. The hope is to have it installed tomorrow night.
