A 54-year-old man from the county of St. Paul is facing impaired driving charges after a concerned witness reported a vehicle swerving on Highway 41 near Township Road 622.
The incident occurred on October 5 at approximately 9:45 p.m. According to RCMP, a witness reported that the driver of the suspect vehicle was swerving so severely that “he nearly hit the ditch.”
RCMP were dispatched to the scene and successfully located the vehicle.
The driver failed a roadside screening test and was issued provincial sanctions for impaired driving. Additionally, the RCMP confirmed, “He was also charged under the Traffic Safety Act for driving an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle.”
