Excitement fills the air at the Cenovus Energy Wellness Centre as new equipment arrives, marking a significant upgrade to the facility’s offerings.
“We like to keep the equipment current and give users a great space to feel comfortable while they work out,” said Mayor Craig Copeland.
The 2024 addition includes cutting-edge Hammer Strength plate loaded and selected cable equipment to provide patrons with a diverse and practical workout experience.
Hammer Strength plate loaded equipment
- Iso-lateral kneeling leg curl
- Leg extension
- Iso-lateral high row
- Seated dip
Hammer strength select cable equipment
- Standing calf raise
- Lateral raise
- Bicep curl
- Triceps extension
Multiple plates have been ordered to accommodate the added plate-loaded equipment. Additionally, cross-over cables have been introduced in a newly developed women’s section behind the fitness monitors.
Wellness Centre patrons are encouraged to explore the new equipment and ask questions if unfamiliar with any of the offerings. Located on the second floor of the Energy Centre, the Cenovus Energy Centre is committed to providing a welcoming space for individuals of all fitness levels.
