Cold Lake is getting ready for another full day of Canada Day celebrations at Kinosoo Beach on July 1.
The annual event will kick off with a parade before moving into a day filled with family friendly activities, live entertainment, vendors, beer gardens, and a fireworks display over Cold Lake.
Some performers this year include hoop dancer Dallas Arcand, the Hoop Circus and several musical acts, including Canadian rock band The Northern Pikes.
The day will wrap up with fireworks over the lake at 11 p.m.
The city is also seeking local businesses, non-profit organizations, charity groups, sports teams, and community clubs to register a float to make this year’s Canada Day Parade the largest one yet.
The deadline to apply is June 26, and those who are interested can contact the Cold Lake Energy Centre or visit the city’s website.
