Hosts wanted for Alberta Open Farm Days 2026

Organizers of Alberta Open Farm Days are looking for hosts across the region for this year’s event.

The province-wide event is set for August 15 and 16, 2026, and will highlight the theme “Farm Stories: Rangelands, Grasslands and Pastoralists,” focusing on livestock producers and those who manage grazing lands.

Farms, ranches, agri-businesses, ag societies, 4-H clubs and rural organizations are all encouraged to take part. Organizers say early registration is recommended to allow time for planning and promotion, with the deadline set for April 30.

More information on how to register is available online at Alberta Open Farm Days website.
