Lac La Biche man scratches his way to $400K

A Lac La Biche man is $400,000 richer after purchasing a winning scratch and win ticket.

Nick Sorenson won the money on a $20 200X THE CASH ticket. He says he buys the tickets regularly, but this one took him by surprise.

“I scratched it and then scanned it on the [Lotto Spot] app,” Sorenson says. “It was very unexpected!”

He plans to use the winnings to pay off some bills and then invest the rest. The winning ticket was purchased at the Beaver Lake Busy Beaver Community Store in Lac La Biche.
