The St. Paul RCMP responded to 166 calls for service and executed one warrant for arrest, the detachment has released details of two notable incidents that occurred over the past week. Â
On November 22, around 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of stolen property found in the bed of a truck parked outside a business on 50 Avenue. RCMP recovered the stolen items and arrested a suspect at the scene. Â
Donovan Logan Jackson, 39, of Fort MacLeod has been charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle on a highway and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.Â
Jackson was held for a judicial hearing and has been remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on December 17. Â
In a separate incident on November 23, just after 5:00 a.m., St. Paul RCMP responded to a residence in Saddle Lake following a report of a disturbance. According to police, a female suspect was asked to leave the property after causing a disruption. Before fleeing, the suspect allegedly smashed vehicle windows and swung a weapon at the residents. Â
Zabrina Whitney Makokis, 32, of Saddle Lake has been charges with mischief over $5,000 – damage to property, and two counts of assault with a weapon. Â
A warrant has been issued for Makokis’ arrest. Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her. Â
