Drugs and weapons seized during search warrant in St. Paul

On the morning of November 12, St. Paul RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence near 48 Avenue and 48 Street, leading to the seizure of drugs, weapons, and other paraphernalia.  

During the search, which occurred around 6:00 a.m., three individuals were arrested. 

Among the weapons seized were a compound bow, a taser, and a knife. RCMP confiscated various drugs, including nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 18 prescription drug capsules, and six pre-rolled cannabis joints. Additionally, officers recovered other items associated with drug trafficking, such as a scale, a security camera system, a score sheet, and approximately 480 unstamped cigarettes.  

Jessie Cardinal, 41, a resident of St. Paul is facing multiple charges including, assault, possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: Cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: methamphetamine, and four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions.  

Following a judicial hearing, Cardinal was remanded into custody and is set to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on November 21.  

Two additional individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, though no new charges were filed against them.
