On the morning of November 12, St. Paul RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence near 48 Avenue and 48 Street, leading to the seizure of drugs, weapons, and other paraphernalia. Â
During the search, which occurred around 6:00 a.m., three individuals were arrested.Â
Among the weapons seized were a compound bow, a taser, and a knife. RCMP confiscated various drugs, including nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 18 prescription drug capsules, and six pre-rolled cannabis joints. Additionally, officers recovered other items associated with drug trafficking, such as a scale, a security camera system, a score sheet, and approximately 480 unstamped cigarettes. Â
Jessie Cardinal, 41, a resident of St. Paul is facing multiple charges including, assault, possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: Cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: methamphetamine, and four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions. Â
Following a judicial hearing, Cardinal was remanded into custody and is set to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on November 21. Â
Two additional individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, though no new charges were filed against them. Â
