Cold Lake RCMP seek public assistance after family dog killed in suspected shooting

Cold Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s help to identify suspect(s) following a tragic incident on October 23, in which a family dog was killed in a suspected shooting.  

The incident occurred between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., in the Ethal Lake area, while the property owner was at home. After hearing multiple gunshots, the owner discovered their dog had been fatally shot. 

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle in the area shortly after the gunfire, described as a newer model white Ram four-door pickup truck with an uncovered box. The truck reportedly has a small grey logo, approximately eight inches in size, on the driver and passenger doors.
