On October 10, Bonnyville RCMP responded to a call in Kehewin involving an intoxicated man who was allegedly breaching his release conditions.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m., at a local residence, where officers were dispatched after receiving reports of the man’s behavior.
Upon arrival, RCMP officers located the individual, 46-year-old Billy Cardinal, hiding in a shed on the property. Cardinal was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with release conditions.
Following his arrest, Cardinal was brought before a Justice of the Peace and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 5.
