A 26-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after a violent altercation involving a taser on October 1.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m., St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of a fight near 56 Street and 50 Avenue in which a female suspect was reportedly using a taser.
Officers quickly arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect, seizing the taser used in the altercation.
Kree Summer Helen Pochynok, a resident of St. Paul has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of weapons possession contrary to order.
Pochynok was remanded into custody following a judicial interim release hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on October 3, in St. Paul.
