A Lac La Biche man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of child pornography and distribution. On September 10, the Lac La Biche RCMP, in conjunction with the Alberta RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in the area and took the suspect into custody later that day. Â
Eric Sprecker, a 24-year-old resident of Lac La Biche, has been charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography. Following his arrest Specker appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released on a release order with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 7, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Lac La Biche. Â
The investigation revealed that the victim is not believed to be from the Lac La Biche area.
