The Bonnyville RCMP is seeking public assistance following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian on June 16. At approximately 10:15 a.m., an off duty EMS personnel reported being with a man who claimed he had been hit by a car on Highway 660 near Range Road 483. Â

Responding to the call, the Bonnyville RCMP spoke with the victim, who recounted that he had been walking towards Bonnyville when he was struck from behind. The victim did not see the vehicle and was uncertain when the incident occurred. He was then transported to the hospital by EMS, and his injuries are unknown.Â

Bonnyville RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in the ongoing investigation. Witnesses of the event are urged to come forward. Additionally, anyone with dashcam footage from Highway 660, near Range Road 483, between 7:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. is asked to review their footage and submit any relevant information. Â

Residents are also advised to be on the lookout for a vehicle with recent front-end damage consistent with a collision involving a pedestrian. Â
