On June 14, Bonnyville RCMP was dispatched to a fatal collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers and EMS found a 78-year-old female resident of Bonnyville who had been struck by a vehicle. Despite the swift response and immediate transport to the hospital, the woman was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the police, providing their identification and details of the incident.
The Alberta RCMP have extended their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased expressing their sorrow over the unfortunate event.
