Bonnyville RCMP invites community input on policing concerns

Staff Sargent Parke of the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment is reaching out to local community members for their comments and concerns regarding policing issues in several geographic areas. The initiative aims to foster a stronger connection between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The areas of interest include the Town of Bonnyville, MD of Bonnyville, Village of Glendon, Fort Kent, La Corey, Iron River, Therien, and Kehewin Cree Nation. S/Sgt. Parke encourages residents in these regions to share their thoughts on policing matters.

Starting on January 17, and continuing until January 31 S/Sgt. Parke will be accepting input through regular mail or email. Residents who wish to participate can reach out to S/Sgt. Parke at 4515 54th Ave, T9N 0C2, or via email at [email protected].

After the input period ends, S/Sgt. Parke will review all correspondence received. She will then address the top issues and concerns raised by the community. The responses will be published on the web pages of the respective communities and shared on local social media platforms.
