Smoky Lake RCMP received a report of a break and enter at the Vilna Fire Department, where $100,000 worth of equipment was allegedly stolen.
Police got the call on Aug. 26, 2023 and found Suspect(s) gained entry into the building and stole an AFRACS radio and the jaws of life, including the pump.
Smoky Lake officials along with the Eastern Alberta District RCMP Forensic Unit are investigating the incident. Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to contact the Smoky Lake RCMP at 780-656-3691.
