New trail to connect Jesse Lake and Vezeau Beach planned for Bonnyville. The MD of Bonnyville and The Town of Bonnyville are working together to apply for grant funding to construct a trail that will attach the already existent trail around Jesse Lake to Vezeau Beach. The planned trail will also feature an underpass beneath highway 28 for safety. Mayor of Bonnyville Gene Sobolewski says the MD of Bonnyville will be responsible to clear the path and the town will pave it. There the trail is expected to be completed between 2016 and 2017.
