The MD of Bonnyville says the Lessard Bridge on Range Road 452 is back in action. The announcement came on Friday. MD officials say work has finished up on the bridge after it was closed last year due to damage from the spring melt.
Crews began work on the bridge this spring. New pilings have been installed including one which could break up ice and help to avoid damage in the future. Traffic is expected to be allowed on the bridge by Friday afternoon.
