A chance at being a voice in some big Elk Point decisions is up for grabs. The town is looking for seven people to become a part of the Economic Development Committee. Residents who join the group as members-in-large will have a chance to bring forward opinions and viewpoints on future growth inside the town.
The group meets once a month for a one year term with a break in the summer months. Interested residents have to fill out a submission detailing what skills they bring to the table and how they’ll benefit the committee.
Submissions can be handed into the Elk Point Administrative Building on 50th Avenue or submitted online to [email protected]. Applications have to be in before January 31st.
