Tina’s Smoke Shop destroyed by fire

A landmark on the Beaver Cree First Nation is now gone after a fire. Tina’s Smoke Shop, which had been in the community for 25 years, has been destroyed by fire. The store was used by nation residents as well as campers travelling north on Highway 55.

The popular stop for tobacco, coffee and more was started in 1992 by the Lameman family.
Reports are saying a worker was living at the shop at the time of the fire. It is not known if the store will be rebuilt.

There were no reported injuries caused by the blaze. Fire investigators are currently working on a cause for the blaze.
