Woman Arrested for Drinking and Driving in Cold Lake

A woman has been arrested by Cold Lake RCMP after a car accident in the city where she blew nearly four times the legal limit.

The crash occurred around 3:40 in the afternoon. When RCMP arrived they noticed that one of the two vehicles involved had open liquor containers in it.

RCMP say the 38-year-old driver was able to walk and talk without visible signs of impairment, but she did smell of alcohol. A sample of her breath was taken, which she failed and was arrested for.
