3 Down, 1 to Go in Goodfish Lake Assault Case

St. Paul RCMP have arrested two more suspects in a March 11th assault where a victim’s car was rammed off the road, but one remains at large.

The victim’s vehicle was hit into a ditch in Goodfish Lake. A group of people pulled them out and assaulted them with weapons. During the beating, a single shot was fired into the air by one of the suspects. The victim was not shot but did suffer serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital in Edmonton. Bryan Hunter was arrested in relation to the incident later.

Police were able to arrest Bryan Hunter not long after the original incident and both John Delver and Adrian Cardinal have turned themselves in since. They both will appear in court on April 27th.

However that leaves James Tory Jackson, a 40-year-old from Goodfish Lake who remains wanted for Aggravated Assault and Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose.

If you have information regarding the whereabouts of James Tory Jackson, please call the St. Paul RCMP at 780-645-8888 or call your local police. Jackson should not be approached.
